Allegri: «We are behind, but all is not lost! The boat must be brought to port, we will move up the standings»

NAPLES - Massimiliano Allegri, Napoli coach, commented on the 1-1 draw against Lazio to DAZN : "I have to thank the boys because they played an important game and it wasn't easy, in the first half there were difficulties but we had favorable situations. In the second half we did much better, now we will recover some players after the break. The fact that the team came together was a small brick that we put in. In the first half we were a bit suffering, but then the team had a good second half."

Why did McTominay move to the centre-right? "Because we were crossing from the left and I asked Lang to put it at the far post, because McTominay could be more useful to us. Vergara was marked very well by Nuno Tavares, I moved McTominay to the left to take advantage of Lang's crosses. We absolutely have to continue, because we are behind in the standings but all is not lost. We have to work with confidence, we are not out of any competition. There are moments like these that must be faced with serenity."

Lang caught by the fans? "The fans were very close to the team even today, what I can tell them is that the team gives its best. This break comes on time, I know what the boys can give."

How are you? "When we are in the middle of a storm, the boat must be brought to port."
