An hour ago, outside the sports center of Castel Volturno, there was a meeting between a delegation of Naples, composed among others by José Callejon, and a group of fans of curve A. they wanted to disassociate themselves from the events that occurred last Sunday, in Frosinone, at the end of the game, and they wanted to reiterate their full support to the team and the technical staff.
FACTS The split between part of the supporters and the club was accentuated on the last trip to Frosinone. At the end of the race, José Callejon had slipped the shirt of his number 300 match with Napoli and had launched it to the Neapolitan fans present in the guest sector of the Stirpe stadium. A loving gesture towards those enthusiasts who have never missed their support on the road and who probably were not understood by the fans themselves who, in protest, rejected the shirt on the pitch. A moment of strong friction, which the players themselves did not know how to explain and which generated a moment of disappointment in the locker room.
THE CRITICS A gesture, we said, that was strongly condemned by public opinion and by most supporters of Naples and that suggested to the representatives of curve A to distance themselves from curve B which for several months has been critical of De Laurentiis and a few weeks ago also with Ancelotti. In practice, it has been known that the Callejon shirt refused was only a moment of strong controversy against the leaders of the company.
WITHOUT END The insults received have upset Aurelio De Laurentiis a lot and for the match against Cagliari he has decided to increase the ticket price for the popular sectors. A curve, usually sold between 15 and 20 euros, will cost 30 euros. A mistake, of course, that certainly will not help favor a relaxed climate for the next races. Even for Sunday night a strong protest is expected against the club and the managers, but not against the team.
