Meanwhile the negotiations for James Rodriguez and Icardi are defined, Aurelio De Laurentiis broadens his horizons going beyond Hirving Lozano. The English portal, Daily Mail, reported the news of the interest of Naples for Wilfred Zaha, 26 years old, Crystal Palace striker. Cristiano Giuntoli had positive information on this boy who is a national of the Ivory Coast with which, so far, he added 16 appearances and 4 goals. The request of the English club is important, it asks for giving it 60 million pounds. Prior to Napoli, both Arsenal and Everton were interested in Zaha, who went on to offer as many as 55 million pounds by receiving the no of Crystal Palace. The Naples sports director is trying to figure out if the conditions are right to start the negotiation. It is clear that the amount requested is quite high, De Laurentiis is ready to invest, but he wants to see clearly, in the sense that he will have to be sure that he is an important player, that he can be useful to the cause of Carlo Ancelotti. The transfer request came directly from Zaha who would like to play the Champions League, a competition that Crystal Palace will not be able to secure at least for next season.

WAITING FOR THE TOP PLAYERS - Waiting for positive signals to arrive from Madrid (James Rodriguez) and from Holland (Lozano), Napoli is trying to protect themselves in order not to be caught unprepared if none of the operations in progress should go well. Ancelotti's priority, however, remains James Rodriguez, but he would also welcome Mauro Icardi if the Argentine striker were to decide to assess the possibility that Naples, at the moment, seems to have ruled out.
