Piotr Zielinski is not for sale. For Napoli, the Polish midfielder is not on the market, despite the various rumors that chase one another. One in particular, concerns Inter: the boy likes Antonio Conte so much that he would see it well in his median. But Aurelio De Laurentiis has been all too clear in closing the matter before every other item: the big names are not for sale except for the usual indecent proposal which, for the president, means a deal of 80-90 million upwards.

Zielinski has already had a first contact with the club to re-discuss and extend the current contract that is due to expire in 2021. In De Laurentiis's intention there is the possibility of signing a new agreement in all forms, guaranteeing the player a salary from 2.3 million per season until 2023. The parties would be discussing some details, like bonuses, related to the results of the club and of Zielinski himself. The appointment for the signing is fixed in the first days of the retreat, in Dimaro, where De Laurentiis will be interested in the issue that does not concern only the Polish midfielder, but also the other compatriot, namely, Arek Milik.

GROWTH - Zielinski's was one of the positive notes of the season just ended. The advent of Carlo Ancelotti on the bench guaranteed him the continuity he had never had in Maurizio Sarri's three-year term. At that time, only the alternative to Marek Hamsik or, better to say, the first replacement to be made at the beginning of the second half had been considered. This year, he had no rivals, not even in the six months in which the former captain remained in Naples before moving to China in February. And together with Fabian Ruiz, the Polish international is considered the strong point of the Naples midfield that will come. Ancelotti likes his flexibility, that way of knowing how to cover both the role of internal and external alike. And then, he appreciates the ease of shooting from distance. And Inter also appreciated it on the penultimate day of the season when a conclusion by Zielinski, from thirty meters, opened to the goleada of Napoli.
